Scott Sroka has been creating images for more than twenty years in locations from Florida to Alaska, across the Southwest US, and along route 66. Scott has worked as a staff member in Washington, DC in National Geographic's Image Collection. He has also produced photographs for numerous educational products at National Geographic. Henry--a blue-and-gold macaw, who was on display at National Geographic's headquarters for 28 years, is retired with Scott in Florida. "Firefighting Behind the Scenes a children's book published by Houghton Mifflin, was photographed and illustrated by Scott. His work has also been used by the US Capitol Historical Society for calendars and postcards. Scott is a member of the American Society of Picture Professionals (ASPP) DC / South chapter.
